Minxy and Mimi

Hi there all you boofiloo people, I am Mimi, mum to Hoggle, Minxy who is nearly 4 (also 3 grown lads) and nan to Mister and Squish! Yep, Minxy is Auntie to the two gorgeous little boys below and will probably let them both know it as she gets older! Minxy is a real 'know your mind and speak it' kinda girly.....

I spread my time between my lovely family, support work for a national charity, studying for a creative writing course and generally revelling in the joys of being a 'mature' mummy.

In my spare time I sleep.........okay okay, I would like to but usually find myself shopping, reading, chatting and writing. So hopefully our blog will fill a niche for me too.

I will be here blogging and sharing info on the goodies I have bought for Minxy and myself, reviewing some of the samples and freebies I will be trying out.

I love perfume and so does Minxy, so this will be a regular feature. I also have an interest in anti-ageing products - not the expensive, sell your kidney type, just the regular high street ranges that us everyday folk can afford. I am a 40 something mummy so it's a daily fight to keep the wrinkles at bay and the clock is ticking, tick tock!.

Minxy will feature in munchkin reviews, after all, who better than a munchkin or two to give an honest opinion on products for the little people.

Minxy will also have a spot on munchkin moments; those abstract comments munchkins make and a child's perspective on life, that are sure to make you chuckle.

I will also be here to answer any questions you have, whether its 'do you leave your hair to grey naturally?' (never) or 'what are the pro's and con's of being a mature mummy?'  just ask away...

Me and my precious boys!

I am the one known as Hoggle, and wherever you see italic writing on joint blog posts, that'll be me.
I'm a 20 something mummy of two gorgeous little boys, Mister who is 6 and Squish who is currently approaching 8 months old.

Mimi is my Mum and Minxy is my wonderfully boofiloo sister.

I spend most of my time spoiling the boys rotten (and I don't mean just material things) and absolutely love filling their wardrobes with beautiful clothes.

I don't get a lot of spare time running around after them, but when I do I love to read, be creative and relax in a "Lush" bath.

Its worth mentioning that I have an addiction for fluff. No, I don't mean of the belly button variety, I mean the type that goes on the bottom of Squish! I'm not one of those crunchy, hippy types but I absolutely LOVE cloth nappies. They work so well for us and come in so many pretty colours. We also use reusable wipes and I'm always on the look out for pretty new prints to try out. You'll definitely see a fair amount of that on the blog.

I'll be on the blog sharing purchases for the boys, anything from clothing to toys. Mister will even be on hand for Munchkin Reviews, as I can rave about a new product until the cows come home but ultimately if he doesn't like it it wouldn't be a true representation.

I'll also be giving my views on products I am using, be it new or an old favourite.

As well as on the blog, I'll be the face behind the camera over on YouTube. Bare with me, I'm pretty sure I'll make mistakes and fluff it up (numerous times Im sure) but I'll get there eventually.
